Standup Surfing is a family owned and run business with three generations of Beach Boys involved. Craig Fisher runs the school. His father was one of the original surfers on the Perth coast in the late 1940's. His father-in-law was one of the first people in South Africa to make stand up paddle craft back in the 1950s and is still SUP surfing in his 80's. All the family is now involved in the sport with all three boys qualified SUP instructors and surf life savers. Craigs wife Cinde and father-in law Peter Cuff are mad keen on the sport and are also qualified SUP Instructors and surf life savers.
